Before diving in on Jonathan Montoya's 9-5 Freedom Hackers Challenge, I want to mention that prior to this, there was another challenge called the 72 Hour Challenge or the 3 Day Challenge.

Essentially, the 9-5 Freedom Hackers Challenge is the new 72 Hour Challenge.

What is the 9-5 Freedom Hackers Challenge?

• The 9-5 Freedom Hackers challenge is a mini $5 course that teaches newbies how to make money online with affiliate marketing. Using Jonathan's new software, "Funnel Freedom," you can clone his 7-figure business with over 10 streams of income in less than 2 hours. 

• The training consists of 5 days and each lesson is less than an hour long. So you get a total of about 5 hours of material.

Before getting into the tactics, Jonathan talks a little about mindset.

Key points in this lesson..

• Resourcefulness - Find solutions to your problems. There will be times when you get stuck and may want to quit, but if you learn to always find solutions, you'll constantly keep moving forward.

• Not Giving up - If you push through obstacles, you'll build resilience and eventually get to where you want to be. 

• Excuses - Everything that happens to you is YOUR responsibility. Don't try to justify your lack of action, take control and just do it.

• Concept of Time vs Money - You can either use money to shrink time or use time to save a bit of money.

I like that Jonathan added this lesson because mindset is important, but many beginners struggle with things like developing a strong self-belief system and perfectionism, and if he included these topics it could tremendously help people with the starting phase.

Day 2: Freedom Roadmap (39:58⏰)

This lesson is all about setting down the foundation.

You'll get a 10,000 foot overview on the strategy of building a business that can change the directory of your entire life. 

You'll learn a bit about the skills, tools, resources and software that you need to start.

Key points to give you some perspective on what you'll see in this lesson..

• Testimonials of students who succeeded with Jonathan's program including, little wins, big wins, people who quit their jobs and now live their life on their terms etc..

• Jonathan will talk about how he went from working his butt off, never having time for his family, bad debt, unfulfilled and failures, to a successful entrepreneur who lives the life of our dreams.

• Chris Mcmanamy (a coach from the challenge) will be leading lesson 2 & 3 on this day.

• Before getting into the juicy stuff, Chris will show you how to become an affiliate for the Freedom Hackers Challenge to promote it as your main core offer.

• Then it begins.. by the end of this step-by-step and click-by-click training, you'll have a fully functional proven business set up.

• The funnels, the lead magnet, the copywriting, the email marketing with YOUR affiliate links in it, the proven products, the YouTube videos etc.. it's all done for you except the marketing to drive traffic, that's YOUR job.

2. YouTube Traffic Machine (Automated Evergreen Leads): Long form video

3. Paid ads (Instant Traffic): Wouldn't recommend in the beginning

This is NOT an in depth training on how to execute these methods.

However, he will dive into the short form videos strategy the most and as someone whose used this method before and made sales, I can attest, this method, does indeed work.

Day 5 - Lesson 6: Additional 7 Income Streams (47:18⏰)

This lesson is pretty cool because Jonathan gives us perspective on how much opportunity comes with learning affiliate marketing. Every individual skill that you learn from building an affiliate marketing business, is a skill you can freelance & get paid good money for.

1. AD Revenue - Can post videos on YouTube, IG, TikTok, or create Blogs for your business and on top of that get AD revenue. 

2. Brand Deals - Brands will pay you to make videos for them. 

3. Course Sales - You can create a course on skills you learn and sell it. Similar to affiliate marketing but its your own product.

4. Consulting - Help businesses do something, such as build a funnel, social media or help them rank on YouTube.

5. JV Partnerships - Reach out to other people on your level and talk about each other's products on your channels.

6. Rain Maker - (Traffic Getter) Help local businesses get leads and sales.

Pros:

• The program is short, sweet and straight to the point.

• You can clone a 7-figure online business with high converting resources in less than 2 hours.

• It's a step by step and click by click training.

• No need to worry about writing any of the emails, creating funnels or lead magnets, searching for products to promote or creating YouTube videos, it's done for you.

Cons:

• The program is heavily focused on Jonathan's new software "Funnel Freedom." It's great, but a little pricey ($97/month).

• His software is mainly advantageous if you promote the Freedom Hacker Challenge because everything that's done for you is built in coherence with this program.

• Since you're cloning a business, you don't exactly learn the skills of building a business from scratch, but this does speed the process up tremendously!

• In Day 4, Jonathan shows examples of some of the top marketers' content that you can analyze or model after...but some of the marketers (not all) have unethical/sleazy marketing tactics that I disagree with. Stay true to yourself and don't create or model content that doesn't feel good to you. Be authentic and honest.

Overall, I think this is a good course and Jonathan seems to be a genuine person whose constantly innovating and experimenting with new ideas to help his students progress in their online journeys and lives faster.

It's not just about making money online, it's about becoming aware of a great opportunity's existence, and learning skills that allow you to pivot to different career paths in the digital space with the potential of getting your time, money and your life back.

(This is a good start, but I always encourage continuous learning throughout your journey)

One more thing, if you've purchased the 72 hour challenge before, you don't need to purchase the Freedom Hackers Challenge as the training in both of these is practically the same.
