My list of FREE tools, will make creating quality content a breeze, especially if you don’t have a huge budget to spend on tools and aids.
Free Tools I Use To Make My Blog Awesome!
Today I want to share with you the best FREE content creation tools to use in 2019. I use them constantly.
1. Hubspot’s Blog Ideas Generator
Before you can create any content, you have to at least have an idea of what you want to write about. Hubspot’s Blog Ideas Generator is an incredibly easy to use tool, that takes a word, provided by you, and spits out at least 5 blog topic ideas in seconds.
The Hubspot Blog Ideas Generator is extremely easy to use, you are asked to enter a noun and click add. For the purpose of this example, I entered “Fishing”, you are able to add a maximum of 5 nouns. Once you have added your noun, you simply click “Give Me Blog Ideas”.
In a second or two, you will be supplied with 5 blog ideas given to you like in the picture below. You then simply “page” through the given ideas and see which one works best for you. Remember, if you cannot find anything that you like, simply do it again…
Did you know that, according to Twitter, tweets with GIFs can generate up to 6 times more engagement? By using Giphy you can create stunning GIFs for your blog posts.
You simply search for the Giph you want to use, click on it, wait for it to open and select the HTML code to add to your blog. It’s as easy as that.
3. Google Trends
When you create content, it is always good to stay up to date with current trends. With Google Trends you can see what search terms are trending in Google currently.
Google Trends is a marketing insight and analysis tool. It shows you the search volume of words or phrases over a certain period of time, but it can also be used for keyword research.
If you want to use compelling and informative infographics to create brand awareness, you are definitely on the right track. By using infographics, you will add value to your site, because not only do they prove you are an expert in your field, but it helps to generate more traffic, it is great for SEO, it is easily embedded and remembered and you can easily track them.
Canva has a very easy drag-n-drop system that enables you to create awesome infographics in no time.
Not only can you use Canva to create infographics, but you can create beautiful pins for Pinterest, posts for Facebook and graphics for Instagram! This is one tool that you will use every single day…
5. Recite This
If you are looking for an easy-to-use tool, that also happens to be free, that will transform quotes into amazing, quality images in only a few seconds, then this is it!
By simply typing the text you want to convert, the website gives you a choice of 30 templates with varied typography and styles. You can easily use this tool to enhance your content tenfold.
Grammarly is a proofreading tool that spots typos, grammar mistakes and the general structure of your sentences. You simply download the Grammarly web extension and any writing done in your web browser will be corrected. This includes Twitter and Facebook updates. I use Grammarly all the time and recommend it to any blogger.
RecurPost is a great option for custom scheduling of your content to Twitter and Facebook. It allows you to manage all your Facebook and Twitter posts from one central place. It has awesome features like Content Library and Custom Scheduling, which allows you to load all your best blog posts and schedule times for them to be posted consistently on your different social media accounts.
Like I mentioned before, I believe marketing your content is even more important than creating it, and RecurPost will transform your best content into powerful marketing tools. Not only will you keep your readers engaged, but you will also attract prospective customers and everything on autopilot!
Jaaxy is a keyword research tool and definitely my favorite. I was first introduced to Jaaxy when I joined Wealthy Affiliate. You can stay a free user, but you can also upgrade to premium and get access to features like Brainstorming and Alphabet Soup. After canceling my subscription with Wealthy Affiliate, I simply continued to use Jaaxy for my keyword research.
As a blogger, you should know how important it is to do keyword research. If your content contains the right quality and quantity of targeted keywords, your percentage of quality organic traffic will skyrocket.
One thing I have found is that Pinterest, if used correctly, can boost your traffic tremendously! However, sitting around all day, pinning your content to every single group board you can find, can be a time consuming and tiring exercise. Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying that you should ONLY use automated or scheduled pins, but it saves a lot of time so you can concentrate on creating quality content.
Tailwind is by far my favorite productivity enhancement tool. It is a Pinterest and Instagram scheduler, which means you add your pins or graphics to be pinned by Tailwind on your behalf while you are doing other things, like creating more content.
We are extremely lucky that the internet provides us with more and more tools every day to make our lives easier. Why not make use of all the best free blogging tools and make your blog irresistible in 2019.
